Well as we left of we were rude enough to cut you off of Peeta (sorry) well as we know now he's the male tribute of district 12 (how shocking) but now to know more about this Peeta Mellark, well Katniss already knows Peeta before this "reaping" day has come! how you may

ask? Well while Katniss was still 11 she struggled to provide food for her family, she turned to sell Prims baby clothes to the market and no one seemed to buy it (tear), after failing to get any money for food she turned to the alley ways and garbage cans to look for food thats still could be eaten,

and then that moment Peeta saw her struggling, and was kind enough to sneak out some bread while his vicious of a mom wasn't looking, I guess Katniss didn't remember till this day what he has done for her since she didn't mention him in the first chapter. Do you think Katniss woul

d feel obligated to do something for him?, well to me i would feel like it because well he did help

me keep my family from starving and if it wasn't for him me an

d my family wouldn't be here, if Peeta never gave that bread a whole chain of things would've happened. Heck this book wouldn't even be a book because Katniss's family would be dead and she wou

ldn't have anyone to provide food for but her self.

As our peppy announcer Effie trinket says " May the Odds be ever in your favor" what does that really

mean??? We want your opinion. :D

n "why him" as Katniss says in the book but really why Peeta out of all the male in the district, it has to be the guy who she never spoke to ever since the first encounter, the guy who she doesn't even live next to and is not her friend, why couldn't it have been Gale his name has been in the bin 42 times it's a miracle that he has not been chosen. (wowza) but then again if Gale has been chosen it would be heartbreaking to see Katniss fight Gale after what he has done for her.

Theres 24 of them. and one will survive. and Katniss's thoughts "There will be twenty-four of us.Odds are someone else would kill him before I do" . . . I think its pretty obvious that she doesn't want to compete with Peeta is hoping someone else would get to him. Now seeing that she thought of this how much do you think Katniss' cares of Peeta.
